Prior to coming to the Bar, Nour qualified as a solicitor and worked on a wide range of specialisms across multiple jurisdictions.
Nour trained at a leading international commercial firm, gaining experience in both London and Tokyo. In 2019, Nour was awarded a fellowship by Columbia University Law School to work in Beirut, Lebanon, where she represented protesters in criminal proceedings and worked with victims of the Beirut Port Explosion. Prior to commencing pupillage, Nour was a lawyer at Privacy International, where she worked on public law challenges, focusing on data protection and human rights.
In addition, Nour has volunteered as a union representative, advocating for claimants in Employment Proceedings, and as a caseworker with the International Refugee Assistance Project.
During pupillage, Nour is aiming to develop a multi-disciplinary practice covering Chambers’ various areas of work.
