The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to confidently conduct effective dialogue with Members, as well as liaise efficiently with external clients.  Reporting to the Senior Fees Clerk, the post holder will ideally have a minimum of two years relevant experience and a strong understanding of both fees collection and billing processes.  Proficient administration skills and high levels of motivation are essential.

7BR is recruiting established practitioners to join our General Crime and Financial Crime teams 

During these challenging times we have continued to grow our base of instructions from a position of strength and stability and we are now looking to expand the teams. We invite applications from established practitioners of 5-25 years call.

The practitioners at 7BR include those who prosecute and defend at the highest levels in London, the South East and the Midlands. Many of our silks and juniors have an international dimension to their practices. Members of 7BR act for large corporate clients and are instructed by the SFO, FCA CPS and a variety of government agencies in the UK and overseas. We often advise and appear in private prosecutions for prosecution or defence and provide criminal law advice and representation as a component of multi-disciplinary teams. We represent the interests of individuals and corporates in pre and post-charge financial and regulatory investigations. 7BR’s international breadth is founded on our historically strong links with and regular appearances in offshore/international jurisdictions, including the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Hong Kong, Cyprus & the Caribbean.

7BR enjoys state of the art IT facilities. Our members are able to offer remote, face to face and hybrid meetings, and representation, on every available platform from our video conferencing suite. Our recently upgraded and refurbished premises are owned by the members of 7BR, which has insulated us from the pressures that many sets have experienced.
