Before coming to the Bar, Hannah graduated from the University of Leeds with First Class Honours in English and Philosophy. She then completed the GDL at City Law School where she achieved a Distinction, followed by successful completion of the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.
The Inner Temple awarded Hannah the Jardine Scholarship, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Exhibition Scholarships for both her GDL and Bar Course.
Hannah excelled at solo mooting, reaching the finals of the City GDL Moot and the Inns of Court College of Advocacy Moot. She went on to judge mooting competitions on behalf of City Law School.
Prior to pupillage, Hannah worked as a Caseworker at Women and Girls Network where she advocated for victims of gender-based violence. She has also worked as a Trainee Paralegal in personal injury at Lyons Davidson LLP and on renewable energy projects in a paralegal capacity at Downing LLP.
While studying and working, Hannah advocated as a Trade Union Representative for the Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers Union and taught debate classes to inmates at HMP Pentonville with Vocalise.
