Kian Leong Tan joined Chambers in October 2023, having read the Bachelor of Civil Law degree at the University of Oxford. He most recently worked as a Research Assistant to Professor David Ormerod KC (Hon).
He graduated with first class honours in his LLB degree from University College London and obtained a Distinction on the Bar course at City, University of London. He is a Gray’s Inn Scholar and was called to the Bar in October 2022. Kian Leong writes regularly on public and administrative law issues, having been published in Public Law and the Statelessness and Citizenship Review. He also provided research assistance for the recent 9th edition of De Smith’s Judicial Review.
