David began pupillage at 7BR in September 2019 and is currently under the supervision of Adrian Langdale, having been supervised for the first four months of pupillage by Richard Baker.

After reading English and Spanish at the University of Nottingham (2004), David spent several years working within the human resources department of an international NGO. He completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (2015) and Bar Professional Training Course (2017) at BPP Law School.

Before commencing pupillage, David gained extensive experience as an advocate, attending over 1,000 hearings in the County Court. His work included road traffic accident, credit hire and breach of contract claims, as well as a variety of interim applications.
