James House QC leading Daren Samat secured the conviction of a Northamptonshire drugs dealer for Manslaughter and related drugs offences.
The trial which lasted 4 weeks involved contested and complex issues of causation as the victim’s death came a month after the unlawful assault.
The defendant, Gurprit Bains, was sentenced today to a total of 11 years imprisonment.
