In May, following a 7 day trial, the defendant was unanimously convicted of all 13 counts of buggery, indecent assault and indecency with a child against two former pupils in the early 1980s.
John Imeson, now 73 years old, was sentenced 23rd August 2021 to a total of 16 years imprisonment with a further year extension and indefinite sexual harm prevention and notification orders.
