One of the changes brought about by Brexit is to UK sanctions policy. The UK will now have its own sanctions policy underpinned by the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018. A number of offshore jurisdictions have enacted complementary legislation.
David O’Mahony and Ayanna Nelson will discuss the Act and how it affects sanctions law in the UK and offshore.
