Collingwood Thompson QC and Richard Clayton QC feature in the Solicitors Journal



Collingwood Thompson QC and Richard Clayton QC have been asked by the interest group Restoring Integrity whether it would be possible to mount a private prosecution against the Vote Leave Brexit campaign (or “named individuals within the campaign”) under section 115(2)(b) of the Representation of the People Act 1983.The 1983 Act makes it an offence to exercise “undue influence” over the outcome of an election.
