Mass Ndow-Njie was instructed to represent a football player (‘the Appellant’) in proceedings brought before the FA Appeal Board. The Appellant had been found guilty of assaulting a match official by an FA National Serious Case Panel and was consequently banned from all football activities for a period of five years.
After a full hearing before the FA Appeal Board, the decision was overturned, and a lesser charge was accepted. Consequently, the Appellant’s ban from all footballing activities was reduced from five years to just one year.
The decision and written reasons of the FA Appeal Board can be accessed here.
