Senior Practice Manager
Harry Smith joined 7BR in December 2021 as our Senior Practice Manager. His clerking career began at 1GC Family Law in 2012. Harry is responsible for supporting the Family team in the development of their practice, managing the team’s diary, fixing cases, and negotiating fees.
In 2015, he completed the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks (IBC) Advanced Award in Chambers Administration for Barristers’ Clerks and, in 2016, he undertook the Bar Council Direct Access Court for barristers’ clerks.
Harry is praised in the Legal 500 2024 directory as being “friendly and helpful…(He is) always available to answer any query and immediately responds to emails and calls.” In addition, Harry is also “…efficient and caring, works well with solicitors and is a good communicator across the board.”
In his spare time, Harry enjoys playing sports and socialising with friends.

Will my barrister deal with all the correspondence?
Some barristers have the ability to “conduct litigation” for direct access clients. Our clerks will be able to assist you as to which of our members are trained and accredited to do so.
