Anita Guha represented a mother in complex private law proceedings in which a successful application was made for a closed material procedure and transfer of the proceedings from the magistrates’ court to the High Court. Despite adverse recommendations having been made regarding the mother’s application to relocate, the High Court Judge, Mrs Justice Lieven was persuaded to depart from the professional recommendation and grant the mother permission to relocate.
