Rajput v Commerzbank AG

Claimant awarded £300,684.75 in long running complex discrimination, financial sector claims

In 2018 the Claimant succeeded in the ET in claims of sex and maternity discrimination and harassment relating to being passed over for promotion to Head of Markets Compliance, the diminishing of her role post maternity leave, and continuing diminishing factors regarding Deputy roles. The Respondent appealed to the EAT and was successful in the remission for sex discrimination and harassment claims. In 2022 the Claimant succeeded in all of the remitted claims in the re-hearing.

The Claimant’s 2 day remedy hearing concluded in January 2023 and has awarded the Claimant £300,684.75 by way of compensation.
