There is a growing body of evidence that exposure to traumatic, distressing materials, excessive workloads, and unrealistic deadlines can cause significant harm.
Join us on Tuesday, 7 February 2023, from 5.45PM at 7BR, where we have a panel of seven speakers from a variety of disciplines who will be sharing their experiences.
We will also hear from a neuropsychiatrist about the ways in which such materials and events can affect our mental health, and then our own Maryam Syed will speak on the emotional and psychological impact of life as a criminal and family law practitioner and Liam Ryan will speak about the legal remedies. The event is chaired by 7BR Member Patricia Leonard, and you can join either remotely or in-person at our Chambers.
Book your place by sending an email to Christianah Babajide at RSVP@7br.co.uk. Please list your full name, job title, organisation, and if you would like to join in-person or remotely.
You can find out more about the panelists here.
A member of the Clerking team will help you resolve your request.
