Chambers is pleased to announce that James House KC has been appointed to the Circuit Bench.
James was called to the Bar in 1995, joined Chambers in 2010, achieved silk in 2015 and is ranked as a Leading Silk in legal directories. He has led in a variety of complex cases, including prosecuting multi-handed murders, and representing psychiatrically vulnerable defendants. He was appointed as a Recorder on the Midlands circuit in 2020, where his new role will be based.
James is highly regarded for his excellence in criminal law and has made significant contributions to Chambers, including being part of a 7BR working group that considered social mobility issues affecting Chambers and the Bar.
