2022 marks the 21st year of Pro Bono Week!
If you haven’t already seen them, 7BR spoke with four of our Members: Richard Baker, Elaine Banton, Ross Beaton, and Rose Harvey-Sullivan, about their experience and motivations in pro bono work.
We encourage everyone to read all about how Chambers supports access to justice and the rule of law with Richard Baker, Elaine Banton, Ross Beaton and Rose Harvey-Sullivan.
Earlier this month, Chambers attended the Advocate’s Pro Bono Awards at the Middle Temple where Simon Rowbotham was runner-up and received a special mention for the ‘John Collins Pro Bono Excellence Award’ for the extraordinary impact he’s had in his pro bono cases. Bridging The Bar, a charity founded by 7BR Member, Mass Ndow-Njie won ‘Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year’. Earlier this year, Simon Rowbotham, Anita Guha, Ross Beaton and Rose Harvey-Sullivan completed the 25 for 25: The Pro Bono Challenge, an Advocate challenge that recognises those who have completed more than 25 hours since June 2021.
