On the 24th of February 2022, on day 48 of trial which had began in November of last year, before Presiding Judge of the South Eastern Circuit Mr Justice Cavanagh, the jury unanimously convicted Gregory Hawley, Lamech Gordon-Carew, Alize Spence and Dushane Meikle of murder.
Billy Henham was 24 years of age and had, by chance, entered a Brighton squat for a New Years Party in 2020 before he was attacked by the 4 defendants, all of whom were strangers to him. Further details can be found in the accompanying reports and news coverage.
Sentence will take place in due course.
