Tim was instructed to defend a rugby player/coach in doping proceedings brought by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) before the National Anti-Doping Panel. The respondent athlete was charged with violations of the WADA, World Anti-Doping Code, including “Rule 2.3 Refusing, or failing without compelling justification, to submit to Sample collection after notification as authorized in applicable anti- doping rules or otherwise evading Sample collection.’’ After a full hearing over 2 days the charges against the respondent athlete were dismissed.
