Chambers is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Bar Council Certificate of Recognition for our work on wellbeing.
The Bar Council and Wellbeing at the Bar Working Group said “7BR has an impressive approach to wellbeing, based on an established policy. The range of activities in place to support wellbeing in chambers is great, good to see recognition of the importance of mental health training and plans for a more formal approach to mentoring.”
In 2014, the Bar Council commissioned research which identified mental health and wellbeing as an important issue for the Bar to deal with. Since then, the Bar Council has established the very valuable Wellbeing at the Bar initiative.
62 chambers and other organisations hold the certificate and we are proud to be a part of this community.
We are particularly committed to the health and wellbeing of members, staff, colleagues, and their friends and families during this challenging period.
