The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) recently held a 5-day hearing scrutinising the Church of England’s response to claims of sexual abuse against Peter Ball, a former bishop of Lewes and then Gloucester, who was jailed in 2015. Witnesses at the Inquiry included Prince Charles, Archbishop Carey and Lord Lloyd.
Proceedings were widely reported in the media: The Guardian, The Times and The Telegraph.
The Inquiry is expected to report in the New Year.
