Anna Nicholson, a receptionist at 7BR since 2014 is about to embark on her most exciting project and all at 7BR are delighted to be financially supporting her.
Woman of the Year is a one woman character comedy show written and performed by Anna. It will be performed in London in July and at the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
Through a combination of monologue and song, the audience meet the nominees for this year’s Woman of the Year award. From an it girl blogger giving the ‘best’ advice, to an over competitive vicar. Who will win? The audience decides.
Woman of the Year has been developed with BBC sitcom writer James Cary (Bluestone 42, Miranda). Last year Anna starred in James’ show ‘A Monk’s Tale’, which received critical acclaim from The Times and The Guardian, had a highly successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe and a sell-out 99 date UK tour.
Anna says: ‘I have been very fortunate to be able to work in chambers in between acting jobs for the last 4 years. I have always appreciated the genuine support shown to me by barristers and staff at 7BR and am delighted and very touched that chambers have decided to financially support me by making a significant contribution towards my Edinburgh show expenses.’
