A unique digital currency, Bitcoin still eludes traditional regulation systems. Barristers David Matthew and James Macdonald will discuss possible future developments and uses of Blockchain/distributed ledger, and the problems posed for national and international regulation. Dr Eva Micheler, Associate Professor (Reader) in Law at the LSE, will speak on the nature of the bitcoin and the recent fork in the bitcoin chain.
