Thursday 19th January marks the first week of the Skeleton Series 2017, where our expert panel of speakers will be discussing Paediatric Neurology. The seminar will be chaired by Lord Hughes of Ombersley and our speakers are Simeon Maskrey QC and Consultant Neurologist, Mr Jayamohan. We are particularly delighted that Lord Hughes will be joining us this week, and we are sure that this will be a thought provoking seminar.

Lord Hughes was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2013 and sits on the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, the court of final appeal for UK overseas territories, Crown dependencies and certain Commonwealth countries.

Ranked as a Star Individual in both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500, Simeon Maskrey QC is a clinical negligence expert and is described by the Legal 500 2016 as being “in a league of his own.” His wide spanning expertise means that he is also instructed in public law and coroners’ courts cases involving challenging medical issues, particularly where the outcome of the case may have an impact upon civil liability.

Mr Jayamahon is a leading Neurosurgeon at Oxford University Hospital. Mr Jayamohan was featured in the BBC documentary: The Brain Doctors where he discussed his life’s work and the emotional toll of paediatric surgery. His particular specialties are craniofacial, brain trauma and brain tumours. It is with great pleasure that we welcome him to join us for our opening seminar of 2017.

If you have not yet purchased your tickets for the seminar but would like to join us, please use our Eventbrite page to book.
