Gorden Aspden recently received a commendation from the Chief Constable of Derbyshire and the Regional Deputy Chief Constable of East Midlands Special Operations Unit for his outstanding work in prosecuting Operation Minus. A high profile case, the trial centred around the investigation into the murder of a 72 year old Derby Pensioner. Gordon was praised for his dedication, commitment, and the manner in which he led the prosecution team. He was lately honoured at an awards ceremony at Leicestershire Police’s HQ.
