Mini-Pupillages
If you are considering a career in law, are leaving school with 2 or more A Levels (or equivalent) and plan to go on to Higher Education, we can offer you a "mini-pupillage": your opportunity to gain an insight into the day-to-day work of a barrister.
How does it work?
• A mini-pupillage lasts for one week.
• They are mainly based at our chambers in London but can also be arranged in the Midlands, subject to your own location and the workload of members.
• You join us between 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. each day at Chambers but with visits to courts with members. If your mini-pupillage is in London, you will only be asked to visit courts within the Greater London area.
• You need to be prepared to sign a confidentiality agreement.
• No financial assistance is given and there is no formal assessment at the end of the mini-pupillage.
How to apply
If you would like to be considered for a mini-pupillage, please write to us with your CV and a covering letter - by post only - telling us:
• Why you are applying to 7 Bedford Row.
• The practice areas that are of particular interest to you.
• Your preference for a London-based or a Midlands-based mini-pupillage.
• When you would be free to join us.
Please address your application to: The Mini-Pupillage Coordinator, c/o Mark Waterson, 7 Bedford Row, London, WC1R 4BS.
