Mini-Pupillage

We welcome applications for mini-pupillages. These are primarily based in London but can be arranged in the Midlands subject to the location of the candidate and the work load of members.

All candidates must be aged 18 and over and ideally should have finished their 'A' levels or equivalent examinations and have obtained, or be expecting to obtain, 2 or more 'A' Levels or their equivalent with an expectation of continuing into Higher Education.

The mini-pupillages will last for one week in duration, will be unfunded and will not be formally assessed.

Mini-pupils will be generally expected to be available between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day. Efforts will be made to minimise the extent to which a mini-pupil will be asked to travel to court. It is anticipated that a London based mini-pupil would only need to travel to courts within the greater London area. All mini-pupils will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Postal applications by CV and covering letter addressed to:

The Mini-Pupillage Coordinator, c/o Mark Waterson, 7 Bedford Row, London, WC1R 4BS.

Applications by any other method will not be considered.

The covering letter should set out your reasons for applying to 7 Bedford Row, indicate any areas of Chambers' practice which are of particular interest, state whether a London or Midland based mini-pupillage would be preferred and include dates of availability. Chambers operates a first come, first served policy for mini-pupillages.
