Obstetric Emergencies - a seminar hosted by 7 Bedford Row and Baby Lifeline
30 June 2008
In conjunction with Baby Lifeline, the clinical negligence team at 7 Bedford Row will be holding a 1 day seminar on the subject of obstetric emergencies on 23 October 2008.
The seminar will provide practitioners with a unique opportunity to assess and interpret a wide range of real life obstetric emergencies at individual workstations supervised by experienced medical trainers. Participants will be able to experience the type of "hands on" scenario training that midwives and obstetricians receive.
The seminar programme will cover current theoretical and practical knowledge on the management of obstetric emergencies. Speakers include Simeon Maskrey QC, Dr Felicity Plaat (Consultant Anaesthetist) and Professor Edward Shaxted (Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist).
Baby Lifeline is the only UK national mother and baby charity. The cost of the seminar will be £250 plus VAT (£293.75).
Note:
Places for this seminar are now fully booked. To meet the demand for places we have scheduled a repeat seminar for 12 March 2009. Places on the course are limited due to the constraints imposed by the practical sessions so there is a real need to book early. If you would like further details, or a registration form for the March 2009 seminar, please contact Paul Eeles.
