Peter Ellis joins 7 Bedford Row

We welcome Peter Ellis, who joins us from Lamb Chambers. Peter is rated by the Legal 500 as a leading junior in clinical negligence, a reputation founded on his experience practising first as a doctor and later, as a product liability and healthcare solicitor, before he was called to the bar in 1997. This expertise led to his appointment as a Assistant Deputy Coroner; it is also reflected in his extensive list of publications. He is the author and editor of the clinical negligence section of Butterworth's Personal Injury Litigation Service, assistant editor of Tottel's Law of Limitation, a regular contributor to PIBUJL and co-author of the Work-Related Injury and Illness Litigation Handbook. He is an accredited mediator.
Peter's arrival further strengthens our clinical negligence and product liability teams which are highly regarded for their outstanding experience in complex claims: Peter himself was a member of the defence teams in the Valium, Lariam, Prozac, and MMR group actions.
