7 Bedford Row raises over £4,500 for Children in Need

Members & staff at 7 Bedford Row were in the fundraising spirit on Friday 20th November, in aid of Children in Need.
The events of the day started with a special afternoon webinar on Neurology, given by Leslie Keegan and Simon Wheatley of 7 Bedford Row. We were also using the opportunity to trial our new state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment which, in conjunction with our new BT MeetMe audio facility, worked extremely well to ensure the smooth and clear delivery of the speakers’ presentations. Many thanks to all those solicitors who attended the webinar, and also for their positive feedback. We will be running many more of our seminars via the web in 2010.
The evening brought a more light-hearted approach to the fundraising; many highly sought-after items (kindly donated by members of 7BR, solicitors & friends of 7BR) were auctioned off with Simon Wheatley taking centre stage as chief auctioneer! His persuasive yet good humoured skills ensured that no lot was left unsold.

Raising over £4,500 in total, we hope our efforts will contribute to making a positive change to thousands of young lives.
