Gareth Rees QC to speak at the Economic Crime Symposium

Gareth Rees QC is one of a number of leading fraud experts invited to speak at the Economic Crime Symposium being held in Jersey on the 29th of November.
The one-day conference will examine a number of key topics of particular interest to offshore professionals including the advance of global corruption and the evasion initiative launched by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.
Other speakers will include Rosalind Wright CB, QC, the Chair of the Supervisory Committee of OLAF (the European anti-fraud office) and former General Counsel and Head of Prosecutions for the Securities and Futures Authority; Simon Airey, who specialises in corporate crime and tax investigations at DLA Piper; and Monty Raphael, the Head of Fraud and Regulatory at Peters & Peters. The keynote address will be delivered by William Bailhache QC, the Attorney General of Jersey.
