Gemma Linfield joins Chambers

We welcome Gemma Linfield, who joins 7 Bedford Row with an established reputation in extradition law. She has previously worked as a Senior Crown Prosecutor within the CPS Special Crime Division, where she specialised solely in extradition. Gemma has appeared in a number of reported cases, and is currently representing the Rwandan government in its request to extradite four nationals to face trial on charges of genocide.
Gemma also has considerable experience in the Crown Court, prosecuting and defending multi-hander trials, often with vulnerable witnesses. Her practice also focuses on benefit fraud, consumer protection and prison law.
