Leslie Keegan acts as junior counsel in a £10.3 million pound settlement for brain injured client

C, who is now 25 years old, suffered brain damage as a result of the hospital's failure to evacuate surgically a cranial haematoma.

His mobility and dexterity are essentially preserved but his cognitive and intellectual function, personality and behaviour have been very adversely affected.  He is no longer able to live independently and can only perform  the most simple household or personal tasks. He requires very close supervision at all times.  He is highly distractible, and does not initiate self-care.  Left to his own devices he will wander off,  he does not interact normally with anyone and can be very difficult to manage in the community.
