Obstetrics Seminar - 23 October 2008
This one day seminar, delivered in collaboration with the charity Baby Lifeline provided a unique opportunity for legal practitioners to experience the type of "hands-on" scenario training that midwives and obstetricians attend.
The morning session involved consideration of the theoretical issues relating to the management of obstetric emergencies presented by leading medical and legal experts practising in the field of clinical negligence.
The afternoon sessions involved four practical interactive workshops supervised by experienced medical trainers in which delegates had the opportunity to practice the recommended manoeuvres and to experience the type of difficulties encountered in managing obstetric emergencies.

An Introduction to Employment Law - Four part series of seminars in Autumn 2008

The series is designed to offer an introduction to the basic principles and procedures required to successfully manage employment related claims.
