Public Inquiries

7 Bedford Row has long been associated with Public Inquiry work.  Members of Chambers have acted as Counsel to the Inquiry, on behalf of salmon or warning letter recipients, and on behalf of core participants.  We have been involved in the extensive drafting and provision of statements; the interviewing of witnesses; the drafting of written and oral submissions; researching relevant law, and oral advocacy within the context of the Inquiries Act 2005.  We are familiar with the unique and consuming challenges Inquiry work can bring.  Recent examples include;
