As senior clerk, Wayne oversees the day-to-day operation of the clerks' room at 7 Bedford Row. He takes the primary role in the diary management and practice development of our team of Queen's Counsel. He is also the first point of contact for Public Access clients.
Wayne began his career at the chambers of Richard Slowe at 4 King's Bench Walk. He joined Chambers in 1987 when we were still 2 Crown Office Row. With over 20 years of experience in this set, Wayne has been a valued part of the team that has seen Chambers through each stage of its evolution. He is a prime example of the continuity we've enjoyed in the clerks' room, a factor which has underpinned the quality service we provide to our clients.
In his free time, Wayne enjoys sport, both as a spectator and as the coach of an under 16 football team: he holds an FA Coaching Badge. He also likes walking his dog to "get away from it all."
