ROSALIND COE QC undertakes both civil and family litigation, and is renowned for her advocacy, pragmatism, and analytical skills. She sits as a Recorder in civil, family and criminal proceedings, including public and private law applications and ancillary relief.
Rosalind is instructed by both claimants and defendants in a wide range of personal injury claims, but particularly clinical negligence and industrial disease. This includes high value cases for asbestos-related disease, VWF/HAVS, WRULD and deafness.
She is one of the leading practitioners in group actions arising from allegations of historic abuse in institutional care, with a thorough understanding of the developing law of limitation. She also has particular experience of “failureto remove” cases.
Rosalind works on complex care proceedings where her knowledge and examination of medical evidence is critical. She advises local authorities in respect of their statutory obligations to both children and adults and works on international family law cases and ancillary relief.
Rosalind writes and lectures on her areas of expertise, is a podcast contributor to CPDcast.com - the online provider of CPD points, and has also provided webinar training.
Rosalind is registered with the Bar Council and BMIF to undertake Public Access work in the fields of Common Law (General), Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.
