“Rob has been instructed by both the prosecution and defence in complex fraud and money laundering cases. In 2007 he worked for a number of months for the SFO advising on disclosure issues in a buy-to-let property fraud. In other cases of note he has appeared for HMRC prosecuting a construction fraud, and as junior for the defence in the sentencing hearings for fraud and money laundering offences.
In 2008, he spent six months on secondment to the Special Crime Division at CPS Headquarters, as a specialist extradition prosecutor. He has since appeared on behalf of a number of foreign states and defendants, both at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court and on appeal to the Administrative Court. He has most recently been instructed by the State of California in extradition proceedings relating to a $9 million fraud.
Rob is an experienced criminal advocate in the Crown Court.
