Christina is a mixed practitioner, undertaking civil and family work, including ancillary relief.

Christina’s practice incorporates all aspects of personal injury work including road traffic accidents, occupier’s liability, employers’ liability, public liability and fatal accidents. Christina is regularly instructed in claims arising from allegations of historic abuse in institutional care, including group actions. She appears in matters concerning CICA, CICAP, Coroner’s Inquests and costs hearings.

Christina has a keen interest and experience in employment and discrimination law including unfair and wrongful dismissal, redundancy and discrimination in respect of sex, race, religion/belief and disability discrimination. In addition to her advisory work, Christina regularly appears in the Employment Tribunal in multi-day cases acting for individuals, charities and trade unions in areas including banking, health, catering and government. Christina speaks regularly both in-house and to local authorities on employment topics. Recent talks have been on the Employment Act 2008, the new regime for disciplinary and grievance procedures and redundancy.

Christina also practices in child and family law. She acts for parents, children's guardians and for local authorities.  She appears in the Family Proceedings Court, County Court and the High Court.  She also undertakes ancillary relief applications.

Christina provides litigation assistance to the Treasury Solicitor’s Department. She advises on all aspects of fast track and multi-track personal injury litigation. She has particular expertise in prison and probation service litigation including false imprisonment, human rights and assault claims.

Christina has experience in complex fraud, e-crime and extradition cases. She has undertaken work on behalf of the Serious Fraud Office, the Crown Prosecution Service Headquarters and HM Revenue and Customs.
