Victoria has a broad-based practice. She has extensive experience in fast-track and multi-track personal injury cases, where she acts both for claimants and defendants in matters ranging from employers’ liability and road traffic accidents to sexual abuse in children’s homes, including in group actions.

She also undertakes clinical negligence cases, with particular expertise in claims relating to surgical procedures, orthopaedic injuries, gynaecological and obstetrics cases and dental claims.

Victoria also acts for both employers and employees in cases involving unfair dismissal, redundancy and discrimination.

Children Act cases – primarily in the area of public law – are a further area of expertise. Victoria has particular experience in cases that involve mental health or complex medical issues and in acting for mentally incapacitated adults.

A developing practice area is public and regulatory law where Victoria’s experience includes education, mental health and costs cases. She has experience of disciplinary work particularly in cases involving police officers.

Victoria writes and speaks regularly on all her areas of her expertise.
