Tom is a skilled advocate with extensive experience of calling and cross-examining accountants, surveyors, forensic scientists, collision investigators and medical experts giving complex evidence. He combines a down-to-earth manner with serious approach to cases.
In crime Tom has unparalleled experience for his call of serious and complex cases, both as led junior and alone. Prosecuting (Grade 3) and defending in equal measure, his practice focuses on fraud and serious crime, and cases requiring sensitive handling. Although his practice is rooted in advocacy, he has considerable experience of advisory work including advising on investigation and confiscation.

In addition to trials (fast and multi track) he conducts a full range of paperwork. Tom is experienced in road traffic litigation in both a civil and criminal context, having acted extensively in cases arising out of fatal road accidents.
