Peter is ranked by the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners as a leading junior in clinical negligence and healthcare law at the London Bar. His principal areas of expertise are complex clinical negligence and personal injury cases, including product liability. He is also in demand for his expertise in relation to coroners’ inquests and related fatal accident litigation. He acts for both claimants and defendants.
Peter practised as a hospital doctor and as a solicitor specialising in product liability and healthcare law, before transferring to the Bar. He is a practising mediator and a former Assistant Deputy Coroner in London. He is the author and assistant editor of a number of leading medico-legal textbooks. He is a regular chairman and speaker at medico-legal conferences, for both lawyers and healthcare professionals.
