David is responsible for negotiating and managing the criminal fees of all of 7 Bedford Row's QCs and for juniors where they are led by one of our silks. He also manages the fees for all VHCC cases for both the CPS and the defence, in addition to resolving issues with all parties in ex post facto cases.

Prior to joining 7 Bedford Row in 2003, David was an Office Manager with CPS Headquarters, having transferred there from the DPP's Office in 1986. He first joined the DPP in 1980.

David has a wide variety of leisure interests, including cricket, golf, rugby, gardening, travel, cooking, wine and enjoying the company of his family.
