Recognised in The Legal 500 as a clinical negligence practitioner "who continues to merit attention" Adam has extensive experience in medico-legal work.

His clinical negligence practice focuses on acting for claimants in obstetric negligence and cerebral palsy claims, serious brain injury and orthopaedic cases. Adam is particularly well known for his work on cases where medical conditions have not been diagnosed or patients have not been adequately informed of a prognosis or of the risks involved in treatment.

Adam also represents healthcare professionals in disciplinary proceedings. He is frequently instructed in inquests which concern the quality of medical treatment received by the deceased.

In the field of product liability, Adam was instructed in the MMR litigation and specialises in cases involving medical products, such as vaccines, medicines, orthopaedic and other implants.

His personal injury work include industrial accidents, road traffic accidents and employers’ liability cases, including stress at work claims.

Adam also practises in the area of child law with an emphasis on public law care proceedings involving allegations of physical abuse/non-accidental injury. He acts for local authorities, guardians and parents.

In employment law, Adam's primary focus is on cases involving allegations of racial or sexual discrimination.
