Tim Spencer QC & Jenny Carter-Manning Successfully Prosecute Notorious Nottingham Drug Gang

Timothy Spencer QC and Jennifer Carter-Manning successfully prosecuted a UK-wide drug-dealing gang in Nottingham, investigated by the East Midlands Special Operations Unit.  After a 10 week trial, 10 defendants were convicted of their involvement in the conspiracy to supply class A drugs. The ring-leaders received sentences of between 16 and 11 years.  HHJ Morris, sentencing, remarked that “unusually we have in the dock eventually the whole hierarchy of drug crime.  From the very bottom to almost the very top."
