Anonymity Orders in Clinical Negligence

Simeon Maskrey QC was invited to speak at the AVMA Clinical Negligence 2011, held this month.

In the course of his address, Simeon discussed the approach to seeking an anonymity order in clinical negligence cases. The issue had arisen in a recent case heard before Mr Justice Tugendhat, where Simeon successfully obtained an order for anonymity for a claimant.
