Consistently rated over past years as a leading junior in the legal directories, Jeremy is currently rated in Chambers and Partners (2011) as a leading clinical negligence junior - "a very bright junior who is excellent on cerebral palsy claims ... he will pursue cases to the very end, always taking great care over the client's needs and the best way to protect them". He is also rated in The Legal 500 (2011) as both a leading clinical negligence junior and as a leading personal injury junior - "a safe pair of hands on complex cases".

Jeremy specialises in cases of maximum severity, acting for claimants and individual and institutional / corporate defendants in all areas of his work.

In clinical negligence Jeremy has gained a reputation for his expertise and experience in obstetric related cerebral palsy; and he enjoys particular interests in neonatal, brain, spinal and surgical injuries.

In personal injury work Jeremy is mainly engaged in catastrophic injury and fatal accident cases, arising in the workplace and in RTAs. He has a particular niche interest in sporting injuries and in work related upper limb disorders.

Jeremy undertakes product liability work and was recently involved in the US-based Avandia class action litigation.

His extensive medico-legal knowledge is also sought after for disciplinary cases in the medical profession, health & safety matters that involve personal injury and for inquests.

Jeremy writes and lectures on his areas of legal expertise; and he is an accredited facilitative mediator.
