Crime

James’s criminal focus is upon defence in the Crown Court. He is regularly instructed on cases involving allegations of serious violence, sexual abuse, fraud, money laundering and the supply and cultivation of drugs. He also has experience of confiscation and disclosure proceedings.

As part of his criminal practice he has assisted in advising on the legality of searches in high profile criminal investigations, and successfully applied for risk of sexual harm orders.

James also has experience of health and safety prosecutions, food hygiene cases and environmental notices.
